Online Poker And Cheating
Added: December 31st, 1969

All around the globe, poker seems to have taken the World Wide Web by storm. You can find it in various television channels, in movies, and above all it seems to be a good portion of the SPAM - If I am not wrong you get that each and every day! Blame it to such popularity, individuals are of course flocking to play for themselves but the fact remains that not everyone has a friends who are ready to work as a team for a Friday night game. But in this day and age of technology, if it's worth doing in person there is no doubt that it's twice as worth doing alone in a comfort of your home with your keyboard.

Are online poker rooms really safe?
According to a recent study, a majority of people prefer playing in the privacy of their home, against people they never see in person. There is a wide array of reasons for this sort of mentality. In addition, there are lots of benefits attached to the poker player when playing in the privacy of home.

First and foremost, there are not going to be lots of distractions when playing poker at home. There would be no issue regarding your bad poker face, no concern that someone is going to peek over your shoulder and see your cards... or can they? There is some speculation in the various media circles that it is possible to cheat even at the widely publicized "safe" online poker rooms.

Cheating techniques
Generally speaking, it's not that easy cheating the online poker rooms themselves but yes you can cheat the other players individually with utmost ease. Talking about word cheating in online poker, remember that not everything can be termed as "cheating". It is worth mentioning in this regard that lots of the techniques that can be learned more or less depends on the kind of strategy you are pursuing as well as leveraging the inherent benefits playing online poker has, than they have to do with cheating per . According to experts, there are a few tricks that aren't talked about much openly, but that are downright... well, "unethical" at least.

Cheaters always winning
It's quite natural that poker players, who have lost money in the game, look out for an opportunity to recover that loss. More often, they decide to turn to cheating thinking that "nobody gets hurt" when it's just you and the laptop. In other word, it doesn't feel like there are real people on the other side of the poker table but fact of the matter is there are real people involved and you have to deceive them if you are interested in winning the money.

In the last few months, plenty of techniques have leaked onto the Internet, and large chunk of them involve cracking the random number generators that are used by the poker sites. It has come into the notice that some of the people also analyze thousands of hands of play in order to predict card patterns. No doubt, these sorts of techniques give the online poker player an advantage but in my opinion they are not that effective in the long run.

Seeing your opponent's hole cards
But one technique, which is making it's presence felt in the world of online poker, is the possibility of seeing your opponent's hole cards. Though it has not been proven as of yet but these are being reported in various newspapers and websites. There is a heated discussion going on regarding the practicality of this technique in the world of online poker. However, at the end of the day if you are able to win money, a little bit of difficulty may be worth overcoming.

Be knowledgeable
Whatever the case, one thing is for sure, if you play online poker it's your responsibility to be aware of what's happening in the game of poker. It is of paramount importance that you practice common Internet security and smart surfing, and you should remain safe.

Quite an interesting and informative article. We need a lot of such articles in future. So please continue with the topic. I believe the hackers have the ability to crack any such online activity. After all it is binary coding.
