By beating the likes of Aurangzeb "Ozzy87" Sheikh, Tibster24, OneUponAStar, Steve Sung, Ugadabugada and Patrik Antonius, slaktarn takes home $560k and one of the biggest heads-up PLO tournaments in history.

slaktarn is up nearly $2 million in 2008 but little information is available about the newly crowned Full Tilt Heads-Up champ. We'll bet that won't be the case for long.

Some sources say he's Swedish and some say he's actually a she. Probably a simple explanation, but we hope not. Anonymity is underrated.

As for the poker pro that slaktarn unseated in the final, well, he's one of the best-known faces in the game. Pretty boy Patrik Antonius now has more than $3 million in career tournament winnings and is a frequent face at the highest-stakes poker games in the world. Pot-Limit Omaha is one of his biggest meal tickets.

Antonius, who is currently in South Africa, was confident after putting the whip to Daniel "imabigkidnow" Kelly, omgwhataclown, Brian Hastings, and Hac "trex313" Dang on the first day of play.

"My opponent in the semifinals is 'Urindanger,'" Antonius wrote in his personal blog. "He is one of the best online players, and we have also battled in a few big pots in Bobby's Room. I am sure he is going to be ready for the challenge and try to get some revenge for his brother, whom I beat in the quarterfinals."

Antonius did indeed manage to dispatch urindanger before losing to slaktarn in the final.

In the final hand of the final Antonius, down in chips $9,705 to $2,295, raised to $150 in the small blind. slaktarn called. The flop came #Jh#6d#7s. slaktarn check-raised and when Antonius went all-in slaktarn quickly called.

Antonius showed #Ad#Ah#Th#9c with slaktarn showing #Jc#Jd#8c#Qh. With #9s coming on the turn and #5s on the river, slaktarn made the straight and won the whole show. Antonius took $320k for second place.

The total prize pool for the championship was $1.6 million. Payouts from the 64-player field were as follows:

[/li][li]Andy Bloch, who whittled his way to the semifinals in the $25k No-Limit Hold'em Online Heads-Up Championship back in May, getting dusted by Dario Alioto in the opening round as well. [/li][/ul]

No word yet on when Full Tilt will host the next $25k Online Heads-Up Championship, but we're betting it won't be long. Stay tuned.
