Sunday Results In Big Ftops X Crowds
Added: November 11th, 2008

The first event of the day was a $240+$16 No-Limit Hold'em Knockout Six-Max hosted by Andy Black. The Irishman was sitting atop a $600,000 guaranteed prize pool that ballooned to nearly $700,000 by the time the 3,499 players were seated and ready to go.

Black wasn't the only pro in the mix either. Scott Clements was there to claim some money for 341st place, and Brandon Adams scored in 375th place.

The big winner of the event was whatariver1, who takes home $137,153.80 for first place.

The final-table results were:

The second event of the day was hosted by Howard Lederer. The former extra-large poker pro may be much thinner these days, but he was put in charge of one of the heftier prize pools guaranteed by Full Tilt Poker for the FTOPS X.

The $300+$22 No-Limit Hold'em event had a $1.5 million guaranteed prize pool. A hefty crowd of 5,370 players showed up looking for a piece of that prize pool, boosting it up to $1,611,000.

A couple of familiar names earned a piece of that money. Berry Johnston cashed in 189th place, while dmmikkel picked up money for 177th place.

The winner of the event was bigdogpckt5s, who earns $277,929.72 for the win. The final-table results were:

The action at Full Tilt Poker series continued today with a $300+$22 Mixed Hold'em event that started at 2 p.m. ET. It was hosted by Roland de Wolfe and had a $250,000 guaranteed prize pool.

David Singer will play host at 9 p.m. ET with a $1,000+$60 No-Limit Hold'em event. It will have another $1.5 million guaranteed prize pool for players to fight for.
