Stann will be bringing his background as a successful blackjack player and TV personality to the popular poker site and in doing so becomes the sixth member of the Star Players team.

Stann graduated from Kent State University with an Honors BFA Theater degree and spent several years on the stage before moving to Los Angeles in 2001 to pursue a career in film and television. Stan, who has been a member of MENSA since he was a teenager, soon found himself drawn to casinos as he had he possessed the innate ability to count cards and beat the house at blackjack.

Known as a brash loudmouth at the card table Stann overcame a giant field to place second in the inaugural World Series of Blackjack in 2004. He quickly became one of the most well-known players on the Blackjack and even published Hollywood Blackjack in 2007.

Eventually Stann moved to the game of poker and, after receiving tutorship from none other than Annie Duke, started to find success in that game as well. Stann has had deep finished in the WSOP, Caesars Palace Classic and numerous side-events at the Bicycle Casino. In 2007 Stann was recognized as one of the top under-$1,000 buy-in players in the world.

As his nickname implies Stann has appeared in over 70 episodes of gambling television and recently took over hosting duties for season two of Best Damn Poker Show on Fox.

Stann joins an impressive group of players on the UB Star Players Team that includes Cliff "JohnnyBax" Josephy, James "P0KERPR033" Campbell, Tiffany Michelle, Tracy Scala and Adam Levy. Both Annie Duke and Phil Hellmuth act as consultants for UltimateBet's online cardroom.
