Mark Seif was born in Cairo Egypt on October 4th, 1967 and raised in southern California.

Seif started playing poker at the age of 7 with his parents. Mark did not gain public recognition until finishing 4th in the second ever World Poker Tour event in August 2002.

Seif graduated UCLA and studied law at Loyola University Law School. Mark previously was an attorney who worked for the D.A. in Los Angeles. He feels that his experience as an attorney aids him in his poker endeavors.

Mark now lives in Las Vegas, Nevada with his wife Jennifer and daughter Sarah.
